This Spring my wife and I chose to purchase a solar system. Being handy i wanted to install it myself. But the red tape and permitting process required us to have a licensed electrician do the hook up and the Eversource permitting was off putting. Luckily I called Andy at Plymouth Solar. He was able to answer a lot of the questions my wife and I had about the tax credits, zoning, and what our system would look like. He helped walk us through the process before we began, answered all of our questions while the team was on site installing the system, and met with us after to review the work. They even came back after they got paid when one of the footings sank an inch or two to adjust the post. I even met Fred, the owner, on a Sunday coming to see the array and how it was going.

They are local. They are not part of a larger organization. They did a great job on our South Shore MA installation.

Plymouth Solar was wonderful throughout the entire process of having solar panels installed. They were very patient in explaining all aspects of the system, the industry, the financial aspects, and the process. Once we decided to go forward, Plymouth Solar worked quickly, diligently and conscientiously to ensure our project was completed by certain deadlines. And post-install, it is clear they are following through with monitoring the system's output and functioning. We have no regrets whatsoever, and wholeheartedly recommend Plymouth Solar. One other point--Plymouth Solar designed our system to fit our energy usage, while other estimates we received were much larger, more expensive, and unnecessary.

I am very pleased with my solar system designed and installed by Plymouth energy. When I started shopping for my solar system I was looking for cutting edge system not just a roof solar system and it was exactly what I got with Plymouth energy. My system it's the first in my town. It's stand alone rotating system. Plymouth energy was able to design a system using 24 panels doing the work of 42 panels previously quoted to me by another company(roof system). If you are looking for cutting edge not just the same like everyone else, at very reasonable price plymouth energy is the company you are looking for. The staff is great and very polite from sales (Andy) to installers they will guide thru the whole process . Great company to deal with highly recommended.A+++++

The system more than meets my needs for power. this past summer, I had workmen out at my beach house using power tools while doing renovations. Never once did they run short of power.

I was a bit skeptical of solar at the start, a 5.5 year payback period seemed too good to be true. Plymouth Solar did a good installation, but it was their follow-through to get 100% performance out of one quirky panel that impressed me. They're not just slapping them up. My output is as good as they promised.

We had been thinking of installing a solar  system for a number of years, and a member of the Cape Cod Compact mentioned that the state subsidies may be concluding this year.  He suggested Plymouth Solar Energy among several companies that we should speak to.  In addition to eliminating a payment to the electrical suppliers, we also wanted to reduce our carbon footprint.  Plymouth Solar has provided support from the system’s conception, through design, installation and continued customer support.

The system was installed in early June, 2019 and we went on-line July 1.   We haven’t seen a cost for electricity since, and we’ve enjoyed an ever increasing credit with Eversource.  As an Engineer, I was concerned about the installation and was very particular on the details.  Our installation is a pleasure to look at and was completed in one day by a professional team who had obviously done this many times before.  Everything from the wiring to the interface with our home’s electrical system was neat and clearly explained as the system was installed.  There are no external cables or conduit visible on the exterior of the building and excepting an additional meter our home appears the same.  We’re proud home owners and even prouder of our decision to go solar.

System performance continues to be outstanding, with a calculated payback of less than six years. A Solar Loan was easily obtained through a local bank with the assistance of Plymouth Solar.  Plymouth Solar was by our side every step of the way and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
